AlphaEdge
The argument, not just the signal.
A signal is not a recommendation until someone can defend it. AlphaEdge is built for the desks that have to: it reads a company's fundamentals, its filings and its price action together, and returns the reasoning it used, in the order it used it — an argument an analyst can check, a client can follow and a file can keep. You can interrogate an argument. You cannot interrogate a number that arrived on its own.

What AlphaEdge does
Indian equity coverage
Built for NSE and BSE listings specifically — the disclosure calendar, the filing formats and the settlement conventions are local, and a generic global screener handles none of them well.
Fundamentals in context
Balance sheet, income statement and cash flow read against the company's own history and its sector, so a margin figure is judged relative to what that business normally does rather than an abstract benchmark.
Filings and disclosures
Exchange filings are parsed as they land, so a material announcement is part of the picture the same day rather than the next time someone updates a spreadsheet.
Price action alongside it
Technical structure is read as one input among several, not as the whole thesis. A chart that disagrees with the fundamentals is itself a finding worth stating.
Levels, with the reasoning attached
Each view carries the numbers a desk actually works to — a stop-loss and two targets — set against the same evidence that produced the view, and stated for the timeframe they belong to rather than left implied.
Intraday and long term, kept apart
A position held for a day and one held for a year are not the same question, and mixing them is how a thesis gets tested on the wrong horizon. Each view says which timeframe it is arguing over.
A brief you can argue with
Output is prose: what the agent found, which evidence carried the most weight, and what would have to change for the view to change. The reasoning is the product.
Explainable by construction
Every conclusion traces back to the figures and filings that produced it. No claim appears in a brief without the line it came from.
How AlphaEdge builds a view
- 1
Universe
The names in scope — a sector, a screen, or a watchlist you set.
- 2
Ingest
Financials, exchange filings and price history pulled and normalised.
- 3
Analyse
Each input examined on its own terms against the company's own history.
- 4
Weigh
Findings ranked — what actually moves the view, and what is noise.
- 5
Brief
A written argument, with the evidence attached and the disconfirming case stated.
- Advisory desks that must show their work to a client
- Research analysts covering more names than they can read in a day
- Registered advisers who need the basis of a recommendation on record
- Firms widening coverage without widening the analyst bench
Questions people ask
No. AlphaEdge produces research — an argument assembled from public filings and market data, with its evidence attached. Investment advice in India is a regulated activity, and this is deliberately built as a research tool rather than an advisory service.
